Paul is 7 months old today!
We've been spending lots of time outdoors--on Yorkshire Day (Aug 1st), we went to York and had a picnic in the Museum Gardens park. Great place to enjoy York while social distancing!
George built this little bug house for a ladybird
We walked a section of the city walls that we hadn't been on before--they implemented a one-way system to help with social distancing, so that was lovely. It was probably the best experience I've ever had on the walls in the summer, because it wasn't crowded!
Baby play date with Carly and Zoe! Zoe's birthday is the day before George's, so she and Paul are just one day less than 5 months apart.
Paul's big, open-mouthed kissing stage (this lasted for a couple of months)
Day out in Knaresborough
Bolton Abbey
Biscuit loves the conservatory windowsills
For part of his "summer school," I had George choose 12 recipes from the Moosewood Cookbook to try making with me, 6 mains and 6 desserts. This blueberry pound cake was our absolute favourite!
It was easy to make, absolutely delicious and it kept well
Local walks amongst the sheep--there are so many public footpaths around Otley, and lockdown has really forced us to get to know them!
Our first year of gardening had mixed results, but the green beans did really well!
Baby's first visit to Taco Bell!
