Two Months

Baby's first Ikea trip!

Despite his expression here, Paul really does like bathtime!

I love playing with his crazy hair

Paul always gets excited when George is around!

On the day before the last day of school, we had a teacher training day, so I got a little "trial run" of how it would be to look after both boys all day

Temple Newsam was closed, due to the lockdown, so we went on a walk to see lambs instead

George's first day of home learning

He's been doing a lot of building and playing with boxes

The teacher posts 3 videos each day--a maths lesson, a phonics lesson and a story. This was a shape hunt--George found a cylinder!

George found a circle!

We do a "number of the day" and come up with all of the pairs that could be added together to make that number

Paul on the Winnie-the-Pooh blanket from Aunt Tissa

We've been getting into gardening, with all of this extra time at home!

George and I built this awesome den and he brought his stuffed animals inside for a "party"!

The COVID-19 lockdown started just a few days before Paul turned 2 months, but we managed to get a few fun things in before everything changed. We went to Ikea, had coffee out at Starbucks & Caffe Nero, went to Skipton and Ilkley, went to a La Leche League meeting, shopped at the garden centre--so many little mundane things that we can't do anymore!

Milestones in month 2
6-week check-up--mother & baby both got a clean bill of health
First IKEA trip
First wedding
First lambing season
First pandemic
