I love how they're both staring at the rattle!
George loves his little crinkly cloth book--mostly to chew on, but he does look at the pages sometimes!

It's been a very difficult month for us--we lost Richard's father to cancer on 14 October, just two days before his 68th birthday. We were on our way to visit him in the hospice when we got the call from the nurse, so we were very sorry to miss seeing him again. We're very grateful that he was able to meet George--it was lovely to see him talking to his first grandchild. He was clearly delighted with him, and David was touched that we named George after his father. We're going to miss him very much and we look forward to telling George all about his grandad and great-grandad.
Dealing with all of the matters of the funeral and his estate has meant busy evenings and weekends, and a lot of time driving up and down the motorways. George is getting better about sleeping in the car, and has been such a good boy for us--he's very patient! We're so grateful for our little buddy!
