Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Beer and Music Festival

Last weekend we went on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway for the first time and it was brilliant!

Everything is very authentic, from the platform advertisements to the garbage cans

Ingrow Station

The steam train was named The Copper Dragon, a local brewery based in Skipton

The main festival area was in the Oxenhope station's shed

Another local brewery makes Bronte Bitter--I love the name & logo!

The other steam train on the line was the Ossett Brewery, based in Wakefield

Haworth Station

Haworth Station

We had a nice little walk around Haworth and had tea & cake

The parish church has always been closed for refurbishment when I've been here in the past (2+ years ago!), so it was great to pop in and see the inside for the first time

Yorkshire Sculpture Park

The barn had a crazy exhibition on--these blades were from a Chinook helicopter, set to speed up and slow down in a sequence.

Friendly cows

The Boathouse--the boat is a modern art piece, but the pillars are an original part of the boathouse that was built here in the 1700s. The lake has silted up since then, so it's now land-locked.
